Why the Price Drop?

The timing is almost certainly not coincidental. Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 9 at $379.99 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 at $699 just two days ago at Unpacked. Amazon frequently responds to competitive launches with aggressive pricing on rival products, and the Series 11 is now a direct rival to the Galaxy Watch 9 on price.

Should You Buy or Wait for Series 12?

The Apple Watch Series 12 is expected in September with rumored blood pressure monitoring, a sensor-in-band design, and improved battery life. However, the Series 12 will likely launch at $399–$429 and won't see deals like this for months. The Series 11 is an exceptional value — especially considering its FDA-cleared hypertension detection, 2,000-nit display, and all-day battery life.

What This Means for Buyers

If you want an Apple Watch now, the Series 11 is a buy-it-now pick. The Series 12's rumored features (blood pressure, sensor band) are exciting but unconfirmed, and Series 12 is unlikely to see deep discounts until at least Black Friday 2026.
