Galaxy AI Health Features

The Watch 9 introduces Samsung's Galaxy AI health suite:

No Classic Model

As confirmed in earlier leaks, there is no Galaxy Watch 9 Classic. The rotating physical bezel is gone permanently. The Watch 9 uses a digital (touch-sensitive) bezel for scrolling navigation.

What This Means for Buyers

The $30 price increase is notable — the Watch 9 now starts above the Apple Watch Series 11 at $299 on Amazon. The Snapdragon Wear Elite chip justifies some of that gap with significantly better performance and efficiency, and the Galaxy AI health suite is impressive. However, buyers who don't need the latest chip can find the previous Galaxy Watch Ultra at $225 refurbished or wait three weeks for the Pixel Watch 5 on August 12.
